Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in the United States, Maria is familiar with migration challenges firsthand — including language adaptation and cultural transitions.

After experiencing the complexities of parenting abroad as an expat, Maria established The Eltern Hub to support international families relocating to Germany. Her background in women and gender studies, combined with professional expertise in recruitment, sales, and marketing, shapes every service the organization offers.
